The York Art association Photography Group meets on the first Thursday of each month to discuss all aspects of photography.

This month's assignment is to capture an image in which the dominant theme is "color." With the fall foliage being at its peak we thought this was an appropriate theme. However, besides foliage there are an infinite number of possible subjects where the color is the dominant factor. So we encourage everyone to think, to look, and find that special shot that encompasses color as its focal point.

Kenneth Gilbride has volunteered to lead the group. Ken has been photographing people, places, and plants for over 25 years.  Ken's primary goal for the YAA photo group is that group members all become better photographers through sharing ideas, experience and knowledge. He'd also like the group to be a fun experience and to challenge its members.
