Show Description: Celebrating the seashore and coastline of Maine in the summer is a part of the everyday life here in York. We are looking for artisans that highlight the Maine coastal beauty in some way, also items that are personally hand crafted, and may also be appealing to a tourist or traveler as a unique souvenir of Maine. On Friday, July 3 from 5 - 7 PM we will co-host a jazz concert and Broadway sing a long with St. George Church in Moulton Park. The concert is free.

Show Dates: July 2 - July 5,  Thursday  to  Sunday, 12- 5 pm, until 7 on Friday and Saturday

Opening Reception: Wed, July 1 from 5-7 pm

Drop Off Dates:  Sun & Mon, June 28-29  from 4 - 6 pm

Pick Up at Closing:  Sun & Mon, July 5-6 from 4 - 6 pm

Registration: The deadline is June 15, 2015. Please email us at gallerymanager@yorkartassociation.com or call Annette Brennan at 207-361-7600. Include a description of your medium; if you would like to send us a 150 dpi photo and description of your art also, we can promote your works. Send us a photo of your work if you would like to provide materials to help promote your work. Artists will receive a confirmation call or email once they have been registered. If you would like both a wall and table space, select your preference, and if both spaces are available, we will let you know by June 1.

Drop Off Dates: Sunday and Monday, June 28 and 29 from 4 to 6 PM. Please use the Gift Shop Agreement forms on our website to list all items and have each piece named and itemized with your initials and numbers 1-99 (AB1, AB 2) etc. along with the sale price and label each piece in the same way with a sticker or tag.

Details:

Prints must be matted or framed and packaged attractively.
There are 30 spaces available on a first come first served basis and half of the spaces are walls and the others tables. The tables are 30x72 inches and the walls spaces are 8 x10 feet. Artists can share the space with another artist that they chose. We will provide hanging guidelines. Table design is your choice. There are 5 spaces that can be requested for non-table or wall. For example, a bin or rack only.

  • All Artists can join at Art Drop Off, Single Membership is $35 per year
  • All works must be for sale and YAA receives a 30% commission on all sales.
  • Work must conform to YAA Hanging Guidelines.  Click here.
  • Artists submit artwork at their own risk.  YAA is not able to accept responsibility for loss or damage.
  • Use the Gift Shop agreement on the website under Shows then SHOW FORMS. Please use the Gift Shop Longer Form. Forms will also be available at the gallery but completing them in advance will save time during intake. Please visit the website for hanging guidelines if you would like a wallspace.
We ask each participant to volunteer for 2.5 hours during the art and craft fair.
